Certification Lessons
Paddlers/Rowers may come with significant experience and wish
to venture out on their own. To assure that our paddlers /rowers
will have an enjoyable and safe experience, ATFS requires a "certification"
session before an individual can rent our boats. A staff person will
accompany the paddler/rower to the river to assure that skill, safety awareness
(how to operate on a navigable river) and boat care levels are within
guidelines of the company.
